What I hear when liberals complain that health care reform isn’t acceptable unless it’s single-payer:
“You don’t deserve to have access to health care. My ideological purity matters more than your experience on the ground.”
Sounds pretty similar to the people who want to “reform” various disability benefits and services (like Social Security) so that only the “deserving”...
