Change your twitter settings to say you are in the Tehran timezone, and change your location to Tehran.

Iranian censors are filtering by these settings to find dissidents, by doing this you can make things a bit more difficult for them.

i confess, i couldn’t figure out how the heck to do this. i mean, i know how to change my location, but i couldn’t make any sense out of the timezones… suggestions appreciated. :)

(+3.30) Tehran.  Look for that in the Timezones drop down menu.

you know… nothing is ever simple until after i look stupid… in one of my acct’s, that’s exactly what i did… pored over the drop down trying to find tehran and couldn’t find it… of course now that you tell me to do that (in a diff acct too), it jumps right out at me… sigh. most importantly, THANK YOU. am changing settings now. :)

There’s a shitload of (+3.00) and only the one (+3.30) I almost missed it myself! ;)
